Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury, according to the club.
The Ivorian international suffered the injury during PSG's 1-1 draw against Ligue 1 rivals Monaco on Sunday and was replaced by substitute Marquinhos in the second half.
Kimpembe had made just his third appearance of the season since joining PSG from Olympique Marseille in January, and will now be out until at least the end of the year.
The news comes as a blow to PSG, who were already struggling defensively before the injury. The club have struggled to keep clean sheets this season, having conceded 22 goals in their first 16 games.
The loss of Kimpembe could also impact PSG's Champions League campaign, which they are currently leading.
