The 22-year-old joined Marseille on loan from Arsenal in January and was making steady progress before his injury occurred during a game against Rennes last month.
Guendouzi has had a difficult few years since leaving Arsenal in 2019 following his arrest on suspicion of assaulting a police officer. He spent time on loan at Sevilla, but struggled to make an impact there and ultimately returned to Arsenal where he signed a new contract in June 2021.
