Born in Istanbul in 1984, Cengiz Ünder began his career at Galatasaray before moving to France in 2005 to join Olympique de Marseille. During his time at Marseille, Cengiz was instrumental in helping the team win the Ligue 1 championship in 2007-2008, as well as the Coupe de France title in 2009.
In addition to his success at Marseille, Cengiz also had a successful stint with the Turkish national team, earning over 60 caps and scoring 10 goals. He represented Turkey at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa,Match Point Hotspot Station where they made it to the quarter-finals.
